Most Powerful Tool to Track Twitter Traffic

After completing my job hours when I reached at home, I was totally exhaused. But as a SEO consultant and providing SEO services, I was always finding the ways those will be helpful for our clients to understand and found a useful article about twitter.

There has been always a question how to track twitter traffic and get the perfect visits which was received by twitter. For it, Danny Sullivan has posted nice article along with detail information, it is worth to take a moment to visit URL Shorterners.

I don't know which method would be best for you, but for me Bit.ly works better. It allows me to track that how many people clicked on the link which I tweeted:

The above cited screenshot shows that Bit.ly had seen 15 total clicks to that URL through its system (when I did the screenshot), 15 of them coming from the shortened version which I created. But, when I saw it in Google Analytics, there was no any visit from it. It may happen that there would be different digits in your case such as Bit.ly shows 320 and Google Analytics shows 100 or 200 or anything. But the question is that how could it happen? I think as of Javascript. Google Analytics might have not been tracked mobile applications as a lot of people use twitter through mobile devices.

That's why Bit.ly is the most reliable tool for tracking twitter traffic than replaces JavaScript-based packages like Google Analytics or may be other (I don't know)

Let me know what is the powerful tool for you for twitter traffic with reasons.:)

Can Flash be Search Engine Friendly

Today was weekend for me. So, I took little bit more rest than regular.

As usual, I checked my personal email accounts. I attempted to find the information about how to do Flash SEO. I had known that we should try to minimize the use of it in website. But, if the necessity is required to use it, then we should follow some rules such as div base site, SWFObject, minimizing programming code by using CSS Code, etc. And, also we would place the same content, in Flash, which are used in HTML.

As usual, I was surfing the searchengineland site and I found sIFR. sIFR is a technique which uses Javascript to read in HTML text and render it in Flash instead.

Eric Enge has mentioned it in a very describe way. He also has mentioned that strong point that how Flash Can Be Search Engine Friendly. I think that it will be worth if you take a time to visit Eric Enge's post on search engine land.

And last, I want to get some ideas that what you think about it.

So, please make sure to make a comment here.

Have a nice day.!!!

Importance of Bounce Rate

What is Bounce Rate?

Bounce Rate is a digital measurement from which you calculate that how much can a web page be insisted to the users to visit other web page of that website. By getting this rate, you can analysis that whether the content of your web pages fulfill the information which users want to get or not.

The bounce rate also is showed the calculation that how many visitors go away from the web page of your site after watching it. i.e. It shows that how much the provided services or product's information of your company are matched with users or visitors requirement.

Let's understand this Bounce Rate with an instance.

Suppose, your web site's homepage has 10% bounce rate. i.e. 90% of your total visitors are insisted to visit another web page of your site. In other words, 10% of your total visitors are went away from your homepage.

By getting this bounce rate, you can know that your website performance is good or bad. If your web page's performance is bad, then you have to improve your web page's content or provide all the information related to your products and service, which you offer, to insist the user to visit another page of your site.

You can calculate this bounce rate for both the individual web page of site and for whole site.
